Don't be fooled by the smile,
On this face so pure,
For behind it's glow,
Lay days of flowing tears,
And decievement.
Behind it's comfort,
You shall understand the pain.

Once I was lost in the darkness,
The darkness of the light.
I was captivated, mesmerized,
Broken, forgotten.
Beatin' down, pushed around.

But one day I seen his hand,
Stretched out infront of me.
And from the weary, cold, darkness,
He pulled me from the depth,
He rescued me from my pain.

And today I find myself a-new,
I find myself proud, filled iwht beauty.
